Minor Leaguer Skole suspended
Rangers outfield prospect to miss 50 games

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Texas Rangers Minor League outfielder Jacob Skole has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for an amphetamine, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Skole, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Carolina League, is effective immediately.
